Introduction
The National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), established in 2004, serves as Pakistan’s premier not-for-profit institution dedicated to the arts. Registered under Section 42 with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, NAPA boasts a volunteer-based Board of Directors that includes esteemed professionals and government representatives. Over the past two decades, NAPA has made significant strides in training and educating talented individuals in various artistic disciplines, such as drama, music, and cultural productions. Our alumni play crucial roles in shaping the country’s cultural landscape, and as we continue to expand our reach, we invite applications for the position of Chief Operating Officer to help drive our mission forward.
Available Position
Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on staff development and departmental growth.
- Draft, update, and implement policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Create and launch initiatives that align with NAPA’s mission and vision.
- Lead fundraising efforts to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Collaborate with federal and provincial governments for compliance and reporting.
- Work closely with senior management and the Board of Directors to enhance NAPA’s impact.
Qualifications:
- Pakistani citizen aged 55 or younger.
- Master’s degree in an Arts discipline or Business Administration from a recognized university preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, overseeing administrative, financial, and marketing functions, ideally in education or non-profit sectors.
- Strong artistic sensibility and a passion for promoting arts education and training.
- Experience in a cultural or arts institution and a solid understanding of the local art scene are advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, along with strong public speaking abilities.
