JOB OPPORTUNITY
The Ministry of Maritime Affairs Jobs, Government of Pakistan, seeks a qualified, energetic, and motivated professional for the position of Chairman of the Karachi Port Trust (KPT). Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
A Master’s Degree from an HEC-recognized university in Management, Administration, Social/Natural Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, MBA, or MPA.
Work Experience
A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification executive-level experience in administration, management, or project development within reputable public or private organizations. This should include at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in port management.
Age Limit
Candidates must be 62 years or younger as of the application closing date.
Remuneration and Contract Duration
The position offers a salary equivalent to Management Pay Scale-I, with the contract duration as per the provisions of the KPT Act of 1886.
Nationality
Applicants must be Pakistani nationals.
Job Description
The Chairman will perform duties as assigned under the KPT Act of 1886.
