Our client, a newly established FinTech company based in Karachi, seeks experienced professionals for the following roles.

Vacant Postions

MANAGER IMPLEMENTATION

As the Manager Implementation, you will report to the Head of Technology & Data Management. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless integrations between the company and its technology platform, as well as with digital alliance partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the technology service provider to develop and implement a complete payment system platform.
  • Design and create scalable and secure payment system architectures to manage financial transactions efficiently.
  • Develop wireframe diagrams and customer journey process flows with a focus on user convenience.
  • Coordinate with multiple partners to develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with third-party services, financial institutions, and merchants.
Other Responsibilities
  • Implement robust security measures for payment systems, including encryption, tokenization, and secure authentication.
  • Ensure payment systems comply with industry regulations and payment card industry standards.
  • Establish transaction monitoring mechanisms to detect and prevent fraud.
  • Work alongside software developers to integrate payment system components into FinTech applications.
  • Collaborate with QA teams for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for payment system architecture, APIs, and integrations.

Education

  • Minimum of 16 years of education, preferably a master’s degree from a recognized HEC university or an equivalent foreign degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience, ideally in a startup or a large national/multinational organization, with 3-6 years in a relevant functional role.

Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Prior experience with payment systems, including card and wallet management, app development, hosting, gateway, and network architecture.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and technologies, along with knowledge of FinTech trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Candidates should ideally be no older than 40 years as of the application deadline.
TEAM LEAD COMPLIANCE

As the Team Lead Compliance, you will report to the Head of Finance & Compliance. You will play a crucial role in developing compliance and risk strategies, ensuring that all relevant policies, procedures, tools, and systems are in place for effective monitoring and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive compliance strategies to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the State Bank of Pakistan, facilitating queries and audits.
  • Ensure that partners and systems meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Submit reports and reconciliations regularly as per regulators’ guidelines.
  • Promptly report any material incidents of noncompliance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and update compliance policies and procedures, aligning them with industry standards.
  • Implement proactive compliance monitoring systems tailored for a startup environment.
  • Develop risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s interests and prepare the team for audits, ensuring compliance readiness.

Education:

  • Minimum of 16 years of education, preferably a master’s degree from a recognized HEC university or an equivalent foreign degree in Accounting, Finance, CA/ACCA, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience, ideally within a FinTech startup or a large national/multinational organization, with 3-6 years in a relevant compliance role.
