Qualification/Experience: Candidates must hold a First Class Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Management Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. They should also have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project preparation, formulation, design, grants management, and documentation, including at least 3 years in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.

Max Age: 50 years

2. Assistant Director – PPS-07

Quota: Punjab

Posts: 1

Qualification/Experience: Candidates must have a First Class Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Management Sciences, Business, Public Administration, Computer Science, or Project Management from an HEC-recognized university. They should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project preparation, formulation, design, and documentation.

Max Age: 45 years

3. Assistant Director (Communication) – PPS-07

Quota: Punjab

Posts: 1

Qualification/Experience: Candidates must hold a First Class Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Management Sciences, Mass Communication, or Media Sciences from an HEC-recognized university. They should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in communication methods, planning, designing, implementation of communication systems, data collection and analysis, and report writing, preferably in research marketing.

Max Age: 45 years

Application Process

Applicants must apply online through the HEC website: https://careers.hec.gov.pk.

Do not send hard copies of CVs or documents.

The test will occur at the nearest location for candidates, including Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.

Interviews for eligible candidates outside the Islamabad/Rawalpindi area will take place via audio/video conferencing.

Candidates must deposit an application processing fee of Rs. 600 online into HEC’s account (A/C No. 17427900133401 at Habib Bank Ltd) and upload proof of receipt on the HEC website.

Those already in government service should apply through the proper channel.

The application process includes a general age relaxation of 5 years, with additional relaxation per government rules.

Part-time, honorary, apprentice, and internship experience will not count as valid experience.

Selectees may receive postings anywhere in Pakistan.

HEC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without providing reasons and to adjust the number of vacancies based on requirements.

The last date for submitting online applications is November 8, 2024.
