Chief Development Geologist (EG-VI)

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Requirement: M.Sc. or B.S. (4 years) in Geology from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: At least 12 years of post-qualification experience in the E&P sector, including a minimum of 8 years in constructing Static Reservoir Models and conducting geological analyses.

Required Expertise

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills:

• Structural Interpretation: Interpret geological structures to support field development.
• Field Development: Develop fields and perform fracture and reservoir characterization.
• Geo-modeling and Uncertainty Analysis: Execute the geo-modeling workflow, perform facies analysis, and manage uncertainty and volumetric estimations.
• Reservoir Simulation and Characterization: Construct static reservoir models and revitalize brown fields through development wells.
• Multidisciplinary Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of geology, geophysics, petrophysics, and reservoir simulation.

Employment Details

• Contract Duration: The initial contract lasts for three years, with the possibility of extension by mutual consent. After successful completion, an open-term contract may follow.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be up to 45 years old.
